A GIRLFRIEND has revealed how her boyfriend catfished her before they started dating.
Zakia first met Rob six years ago. They met online and connected over video calls.

However, Zakia was shocked when she met her current boyfriend in real life as he had not disclosed his actual height.
Speak about Love does not judgeshe said: “He didn’t have a profile picture and he kept saying Rob was the type of guy who didn’t tell anyone before we met.
“Later I gave him a chance and he asked me a question: What do I like? And I like money.”
Zakia, who is 1.68m, met Rob, who is 1.36m, on Facebook. But because their relationship started online, it meant Rob’s height was hidden from her.

When the pair decided to meet for their first date, and Rob knew Zakia loved money, he decided to give her $1,000 (£773.17) after driving up in a large truck, reports the mirror.
“It wasn’t love at first sight because he still didn’t tell me how tall he was,” says Zakia.
“The altitude was still a shock.”
But the length did not allow any middleman to come between them. Since then, the two are still together and are still in love.
“We’ve been together for six years, we’ve had our ups and downs,” Zakia says.
“Not all relationships are perfect, but we’ve definitely had some rough patches.”
Rob was born with osteoarthritis and had to wear braces as a child.
The mother of two says: “I saw many different couples on social media with, for example, a disability or a different height in a relationship.
“So one day I was like, ‘Let’s just record it or something,’ and when I put it on — he didn’t like it at first, but okay.
“I thought they really enjoyed it here, so I made a few more and that’s how TikTok was born.”
Unfortunately for the couple, this meant they became the target of internet trolls.
Many are wondering if Zakia is after fame and is only with him to make some money.
Zakia spoke out and said that trolls have said their “relationship is fake” or that Rob is her son.
However, the couple continues to insist that their bond is real and that they are very much in love.

Zakia says: “We just want to show people that we’re having fun. This is what we do in our lives, it might seem like I’m making fun of him, but this is our everyday life.
“We have fun, we fight, we play, it’s just our life. Just because he’s smaller than me, it looks like something it’s not.”
Zakia currently has 18,000 followers on TikTok and some of his videos have been viewed more than two million times.
She regularly shares updates about her life with her partner and in a video she talks about how ‘broke’ she is.
Rob hits back at trolls who think Zakia is with him for the fame, and maintains his stance that they “truly love each other.”
