Global India Couture Week Season 5: A celebration of fashion and innovation
The Black Page Fashion, in collaboration with the International Fashion Design Council, proudly presented the highly anticipated fifth season of the Global India Couture Week. Held in Gurugram from September 11 to 15, this premier fashion event was an extraordinary showcase of creativity, innovation and style.
GICW Season 5 dazzled fashion lovers and industry insiders, with a vibrant mix of established fashion houses and emerging designers adorn the runway. The event provided a platform for designers to showcase their vision while bridging the gap between the two Indian fashion and international trends.

Expressing his pride, Satyajit Mohanty, Managing Director of GICW said, “GICW was a huge success, founded with a vision to bring raw talent to the forefront and bridge the gap between the Indian fashion industry and international trends. Our platform offers emerging designers the opportunity to showcase their collections and hone their skills.”

The line-up of designers for season 5 was nothing short of stellar, with both celebrated names and rising stars including Atelier Zuhra, Afrowema, Cahiers, Charini, Olive Couture, Robert Naorem, Sabyasachi Satyapathi, Ama Weaves, Manoviraj, Taneiya Khanuja, Abhishek Sharma, Gulabo Jaipur, Shahid Afridi, Anju Modi, along with collaboration with Colombo Fashion Council. Each designer brought a unique voice to the catwalk, presenting collections that beautifully combined tradition with contemporary trends, while pushing the boundaries of couture.

The support from leading brands and partners further amplified the success of GICW Season 5. Hustle boosted the event as the official energy drink partner, while Jimmy’s added flavor as the official mixer partner. Ayaz Perfume added a touch of fragrance, and Pressto, as a wardrobe maintenance partner, ensured the perfection of the wardrobe. Lakmé Salon lent its expertise in hair and makeup and ensured that every look was flawless. Waka Waka added entertainment to the party and lit up the event as the official entertainment partner.
