Last year this huge charity match raised a stunning £ 47,851.46, all of whom went to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In general, however, Goosh has earned £ 161,606.00 in donations since it was founded in 2021.
Goals 4 GOSH emphasize their mission on the website where it reads: “Our mission is to use the power of football to increase the awareness of GOSH’s incredible work and to finance the vital research, equipment and facilities that are needed to treat critically ill children.
“An incredible good cause that is undoubtedly close to our hearts. We, as the organizers, many people within the community and players who represent both sets teams, have had family members or friends who have been under the treatment and care in the Great Ormond Street Hospital.”
“At the height of the Pandemie, guidelines and restrictions meant that in recent years there were large periods in which only one person was allowed to be with a child while they were cared for in Great Ormond Street Hospital.
“There were even occasions where no one could enter certain departments in the hospital. This did not stop the level of care and service that children receive.
The NHS employees were not only doctors and nurses, but also parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters and friends, who served love and company for the children under their care. We are unconditionally grateful for this. “
