Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL Renders Leak Again; Suggest Colors
Google is all set to hold its next Made by Google hardware launch event on August 13 and the company has been actively teasing about its upcoming Pixel 9 flagships. Leaks have revealed a lot about the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 9 Pro XL but speculation is still high. Recently, alleged images of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL have surfaced online. The leaked renders show the vanilla model in a pink tint, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL can be seen in an off-white finish. The new leak has surfaced a few days after Google officially unveiled the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL design revealed in new leak
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414), has posted allegedly renders of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL on X. The renders suggest flattened sides and rounded corners for the phones. The Pixel 9 render shows off the previously leaked pink color shade. Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is shown in Google’s traditional Porcelain color option.
Both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL appear to feature an oval island that sits alone in the center. This is a design choice that differs from its predecessors. The Pixel 8 series has a wide, solid bar that extends across the back panel and connects to the edges on either side. The rear panels have a glossy finish, while the camera bar has a matte finish.
Google will announce the Pixel 9 series during its hardware launch event in August, starting on August 13 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (10:30 p.m. IST). Google previewed the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold last week, and the vanilla Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL are also expected to be unveiled.
The Pixel 9 series is said to come with Android 15 and Tensor G4 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM. The standard Pixel 9 is said to feature a 6.24-inch AMOLED display while the Pixel 9 Pro XL could feature a 6.73-inch AMOLED display. The Pixel 9 family is also expected to come with an upgraded Exynos 5400 modem.
