Google shows off a new AI image-to-video function using the VEO 2 model, but Google Pixel owners can’t just use it yet. Instead, the Chinese telephone company from Huawei, Pixel gets up to work by taking the position in the upcoming Honor 400 series smartphones.
The function still processes images directly from your photo gallery in animated five second clips. You do not need a Gemini subscription or even a cloud connection to make the videos. Honor 400 owners can feed the tool each image, whether it is a new photo, a cartoon generated by AI or even a classic painting. After about a minute you see a video of a kind of movement based on the first upload. The AI can simulate camera movements, breathe or blink topics, or otherwise spend life in the pixels.
Honor’s Place as the first home of the position was born from a deal with Google Cloud. It marks the first time that the VEO 2 AI video model has been integrated directly into a smartphone. And while Gemini Advanced users have access to a web-based version of VEO, Pixel owners have no special access to the video maker.

Honor for Pixel
Honor has placed many AI plans for the 500 series of phones. Google offers different AI tools outside the video drum. The magical eraser of Google, AI violation and other creative flowering are also baked in the Native Camera and Gallery apps of the smartphone. Of course, even the most magical AI Gimmick will not mean much if the phone is a mess itself. But to the appearance, the Honor 400 and 400 Pro come in hot with a number of decent specifications from the middle to the top tier and a starting costs of around $ 550.
The Honor 400 telephones will debut in China and Europe and will probably also appear in India, but may not be seen much in the US the possibility of shooting, editing and animating the same device without jumping between different apps, many content makers and AI fans can seduce the phone to choose.
Honor an early access to VEO 2, when even Pixel phones do not yet have it, refers to a wider shift in how Google AI distribution is approaching. Instead of hoarding functions for his own devices, it seems more interested in becoming an AI platform for the entire Android ecosystem and possibly a little more influence in China while it is busy.
