Tracey posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to take a look at the geometric patterned two-piece set, saying: “Ladies, get yourself to Lidl, these sets are gorgeous!”

The set includes a kimono and wide trousers for £5.99 each or both for £10.

“Come in a new summer look,” Lidl had cleverly written above the advertisement for the combination set, which is now available in stores.

On their website they describe the kimono as “extra soft and comfortable” with “dropped shoulders, wide sleeves, side slits at the hem and a longer back length”.

The pants have a “soft, elastic waistband and side pockets” and an “extra wide leg”.

Both the kimono and the pants are available in sizes small to large.

And people were quick to respond in the comments to the new, great deal.

“Very nice!” someone wrote.

“They are beautiful,” said another.

As a third admitted: “I bought one!”

Items you should always buy at Lidl

When someone asked her if it was “regular size,” she replied, “I would say so.

“I think all Lidl clothes are well-tailored. I have quite a few different items from them, such as jumpsuits.

“Very good quality…and the price is also very good!”

“Ooo, I’ll go check it out,” another commented.

“I need these pants, lol!” someone else admitted.

Another tagged his friend and wrote: “Look at this – 2 for £10!”

“Oh yeah, I love a two piece suit!! What a thing!” said someone else.

“A little bit of you!” said another, tagging another friend.

“The pants are so beautifully long,” said someone else.

“Be nice with a tank top,” another commented.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts?

IF you have ever shopped at Aldi or Lidl, you have probably experienced the super-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s reputation as a fast supermarket is not without reason. The supermarket chain even claims that its checkouts are 40 percent faster than those of competitors.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible, which, the budget retailer claims, helps keep costs down for customers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging allow employees to scan items as quickly as possible. Most products have multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

Shelf-ready packaging is also used, keeping replenishment costs low.

While someone else alerted a friend to the bargain, writing: “I have a feeling this is right up your alley. Bargain!”

Not everyone was impressed with the coordination, though. One person asked, “Is this an April Fool’s joke?”

Other new arrivals at Lidl this week include a pleated denim dress for £7.99, a tunic dress for £9.99 and a short pyjama set for £4.99.
