Gypsy Rose Blanchard Reveals Skincare Routine She Picked Up In Prison
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a survivor of MUNCHAUSEN-BY-PROXY, recently shared a key part of her beauty routine that she learned behind bars.
She said that for her skincare regimen, she used two products that she normally has in her kitchen and used them as a DIY facial.
Gypsy Rose rose to worldwide fame when she was convicted of second-degree murder for the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
Gypsy Rose was subjected to physical, mental and medical abuse at the hands of her mother throughout her life in a case that was heard in the Munchausen by proxy case.
In 2016, she was sentenced to ten years in prison and was released in December 2023.
While incarcerated, she learned several tricks to look her best, even on a budget.
She revealed a unique way she cared for her skin behind bars in a Instagram Live on June 18th.
Another Instagram user asked about her skincare routine and she enthusiastically shared it with us.
“You will be shocked,” the 32-year-old said.
She used just two simple kitchen items to create a radiant look.

“I take a bottle of honey with me to the shower. I take two sugar cubes with me,” she said.
She added that she lets the sugar cubes melt in the shower with the heat, but not to the point where they are completely dissolved.
Then she rubs the sugar cubes on her face as a kind of ‘exfoliant’ and then she smears her entire face with honey.
“It’s a kind of anti-inflammatory,” she explained.
She called it her “honey sugar face scrub,” she said.
Honey deeply hydrates and moisturizes the skin, thus Gisou.
Not only is it a gentle exfoliant and pore cleanser, but it also has anti-aging benefits.

Dr. Anatalia Moore is a general practitioner and skin specialist with more than 11 years of clinical experience.
She told The US Sun that her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their skin journey.
She said the basic principles of a beauty routine are the same for all ages: it should include an effective cleanser, moisturizer and SPF.
“For me, moisturizers are super important, even in place of products with active ingredients,” she said.
“Finding a well-balanced moisturizer that provides the right amount of hydration, replaces natural oils and seals them in, literally stabilizes your skin.
“This in itself can quickly soften the appearance of fine lines and texture, as these are often worsened by dehydration.
“It also ensures that the skin can function as it should.
“This allows it to heal faster, which can lead to fewer lines and wrinkles, fewer flare-ups of dermatitis and rosacea, and shorter-lasting, milder breakouts.”
Dr. Moore’s skin care products:
It “gives the skin a fresh, youthful glow and suppleness, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”
She admitted that she still does this even after being released from prison.
Gypsy Rose recently announced that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Ken Urker, just four months after their split.
