Harvey Weinstein convicted after a new process in mixed judgment: live updates

When reaching the mixed judgment, the jury seemed to credit the testimony of one prosecutor, the testimony of another and the impasse about that of a third party.

Two of those witnesses – Miriam Haley and Jessica Mann – had also testified against Mr Weinstein in his first Manhattan process. The third woman, Kaja Sokoladid not testify to the first test and was added to the case last year.

Mr Weinstein, 73, was convicted in Manhattan of Criminal Sexual Act and rape in 2020, but was moved this spring after the first opinion was destroyed by the highest court of the state.
