Haryana Elections: AAP releases second list of 9 candidates | India News – Times of India
NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday released its second list of nine candidates for the Haryana state elections. MONKEY has felled Krishan Bajaj of Thanesar and Pravesh Mehta from Faridabad, according to the released list.
Rita Bamaniya received a ticket from Sadhaura, Hawa Singh from Indri and Mukhtiyar Singh Bazigar from Ratiya. Meanwhile, Adv Bhupendra Beniwal will participate from Adampur, Prof Chhatar Pal Singh from Barwala, Jawahar Lal from Bawal and Abash Chandela from Tigaon.
This comes after the party’s seat-sharing talks with the Congress broke down on Monday, resulting in the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP announcing its first list of 20 candidates for the upcoming elections.
Earlier, state unit chief Sushil Gupta had spoken about the release of the second list and said, “We have waited for an opportune time (for the Congress). We will release the second list today. The AAP will fight with full force on 90 seats. We have only one aim: to topple the corrupt BJP government.”
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will take place on October 5. The counting of votes will take place on October 8, along with Jammu and Kashmir.
