Have you ever wondered what a Krabby Patty tastes like? You can try one at Wendy’s soon
If you’re one of the millions of late ’90s or early 2000s babies who’ve wondered what a Krusty Krab Krabby Patty tastes like, you’re in luck. Wendy’s is adding it – along with a Pineapple Frosty – to the menu for a limited time starting October 8.
Fast food chain Paramount and Nickelodeon are teaming up to celebrate 25 years of “SpongeBob SquarePants” with the release of two new menu items. “The Krabby Patty Kollab Burger is Wendy’s version of the most coveted recipe in all of Bikini Bottom,” the chain announced in a press release on October 2.
After two and a half decades of not knowing what the Krabby Patty is made of, we now know. Wendy’s Krabby Patty will feature a quarter pound of beef, two slices of melt-in-the-mouth American cheese, crispy lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and a top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce on a toasted premium bun, according to the release. The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty will be a Vanilla Frosty with “pineapple-mango flavored puree swirl.”
The two limited-time items can be ordered in person and through the Wendy’s app nationwide starting October 8 (but don’t tell Plankton.)
Do we plan to try them? You bet we are, and we plan to report back with our full review.
