Hawk Tuah Girl Haliey Welch FINALLY Breaks Her Silence After Viral Video Made Her Famous

The young woman who shot to fame after a viral video of her giving enthusiastic sex tips during a night out has finally had her say.

Haliey Welch – now known as the ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl – described her surprise at becoming an overnight sensation, the ‘creepy’ reactions she received from men online and how her parents were unfazed by her explicit tips.

Speaking to Brianna Lapaglia on the Plan Bri Uncut podcast on Monday, the 21-year-old revealed that fans have offered her up to $600 to spit in a jar for them, but added that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to be the “Hawk Tuah” girl forever.

She also revealed that she quit her factory job and took on a management role since the clip in which she explains how to “drive a man crazy in bed” aired on a Tim & Dee TV street video in Nashville on June 19 and has quickly amassed millions of views.

When her parents were asked what they thought of her viral comment, Welch responded, “They think it’s so funny… they never know what’s going to come out of my mouth,” she told Lapaglia.

Welch initially isolated herself in rural Tennessee, where she lives with her family. Her friends and family built a protective wall around her to shield her from the publicity.

She also revealed some disgusting offers she has received since stepping into the spotlight.

“The guy who makes my hats got an offer three days ago of $600 if I would spit in a jar and sell it,” Welch said.

She added, “That’s disgusting! That’s just disgusting, right?”

The 21-year-old singer joined Lapaglia, aka “Brianna Chickenfry,” just two days after she took the stage with her boyfriend Zach Bryan at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Lapaglia quizzed the rising star about who her celebrity crush was in a game called ‘Hawk Tuah or Nah.’

The influencer first asked Welch what she thought of her country singer boyfriend, saying, “Be careful.”

Welch and Chelsea Bradford, the proud girlfriend standing next to her in the viral clip, both burst out laughing before telling Lapaglia, “I love you but valk tuah.”

The pair showed interest in Morgan Wallen, but did not know who Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown was.

At first they didn’t recognize Dave Portnoy, the owner of Barstool Sports, but after Lapaglia showed them a photo, they gave him a “Hawk.”

Welch and Bradford also played it cool when asked about professional boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul, but when asked about former President Donald Trump, they immediately said no.

Although Welch quickly rose to the spotlight, she admitted that she doesn’t want to be known as the Hawk Tuah girl forever.

She explained that she thought she would never see the video again when she was interviewed by Tim & Dee TV.

“An hour later I went back and the views had gone up by a million. I thought, ‘Oh my God, this can’t be happening,'” Welch explains.

Lapaglia then asked the internet star how she felt about being known as the Hawk Tuah girl. Welch said she doesn’t want to be called that for the rest of her life.

She then logged into many fake social media accounts posing as her, but she claims she deleted her accounts months before the video.

Welch also debunked rumors about where she and her family worked. The Internet initially reported that Welch was a schoolteacher who was fired after the video came out, and that her father was a minister.

“I worked in a feather factory, I’m not a teacher,” she said.

“My father is absolutely not a preacher, it’s just madness.”
