Ramona Bachmann is “deeply sad” that a knee injury has destroyed her hope to play for Switzerland during this year’s euros.
The Houston Dash Forward, who spent three years in Chelsea, tore her front cruciate ligament in her left knee.
Bachmann, who played for Chelsea From 2017 to 2020, the injury sustained during a training session on 11 June.
The former WSL -Aas had no physical contact with another player when her knee was damaged.
According to the Swiss football federation tests that were performed earlier today, Bachmann had revealed an ACL injury.
The attacker, which has 153 Senior International Caps, has been set for a long spell on the sidelines

Bachmann, who scored 60 goals for Switzerland, Said: I am deeply sad that I will miss the euro, especially here in Switzerland.
“This tournament was a big goal for me, and I have given everything to be ready in recent months”.
Switzerland will be confronted in their euro opener in Basel on 2 July before they clashed a Rivals Finland and Iceland with their other group.
