‘High Potential’ Break: When Will the Kaitlin Olson Series Return?
If you’ve enjoyed watching Kaitlin Olson’s whip-smart single mom and Daniel Sunjata’s hardened detective solve crimes on High Potential, you might be concerned with another mystery: when will the show return to ABC and Hulu?
High Potential premiered on September 17 and currently has a rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Olson plays Morgan, whose exceptional mind attracts the attention of the Los Angeles Police Department. High Potential comes from The Martian screenwriter Drew Goddard and also stars Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb and Judy Reyes.

When can you watch new High Potential episodes on Hulu?
According to Kaitlin Olson in a caption on Instagramthe show’s seventh episode, One of Us, will be the last new one of 2024.
“The winter finale of @highpotentialabc is here and it’s a doozy!” Olson wrote. “See you tonight at 10 p.m. (Then you’ll have to wait until January for the rest. Don’t yell at me, I make television, not schedules.)”
ABC lists Tuesday, January 7 as one “midseason return” date for the show. New episodes usually stream on Hulu the day after they air. You can watch the previous seven episodes, including the winter finale, now on Hulu.
How much does Hulu cost?
Hulu’s October price hike has arrived. As of October 17, the standard, ad-supported plan will cost $10 per month, or $100 per year, up from $8 and $80. Hulu’s ad-free plan will cost $19 per month instead of $18. The price increase has also Hulu Plus Live TV subscriptions, Disney Plus subscriptions, and most Disney bundles are affected.
Watch ABC without cable
If you don’t have cable, you can watch with a live TV streaming service that has ABC in the channel lineup. There’s YouTube TV, the aforementioned Hulu Plus Live TV and, if that in a select citySling Blue could be a cheaper way to stream High Potential on the day it airs.
