H&M customers discover a design flaw on crockery that looks like it is covered in poo
H&M shoppers have been making duplicate versions of the store’s latest kitchenware release.
Customers couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the pattern on the new plates.
H&M Home showed off the new additions to their tableware line on social media.
Fashion chain High Street launched a range of homewares with Speckled-Glaze, reports What’s the Jam.
It includes bowls from €7.99, mugs, plates and jugs from €9.99 and a butter dish from €14.99.
However, shoppers were quick to point out a glaring problem with the unique pattern.
The collection has a brown speckled pattern on a white background.
H&M customers were stunned by the unusual design.
Some people shared their thoughts in the comments section and were quick to compare the pattern to poop.
“The pattern of the plates is very unfortunate,” wrote one confused Instagram user.
“My husband decorates our toilet in the exact same pattern,” said another person.
“You might as well buy something to match in the kitchen.”
“Are you at Shartery Barn?” asked another unimpressed viewer.
One shopper called the unique tableware design ‘The Spray Collection’.
“Those are the signs you use when you don’t want guests to come back,” said another.
One Instagrammer joked that the pattern should be called ‘Taco Bell toilet chic’.
Another Instagram user joked that the tableware should be named ‘The PooPoo Plates’.
The trendiest interior design colors of 2024
Homebase has unveiled the official trend colors for this year.
To predict the top colors of 2024, Homebase sales data analyzed five colors that have skyrocketed in popularity with customers.
Copper, pink and black are predicted to be the most popular colors on British walls this year, while bathrooms are seeing a surprising rise in terracotta colours.
The top five trend colors for 2024 are:
- Copper (+57%)
- Pink (+38%)
- Black (+34%)
- Green (+29%)
- Orange (+27%)
Copper has replaced rose gold, while blush is the new magnolia, and the British are also going bold by painting their walls with black paint.
Green is always a popular color, but the shade ‘Fresh Herb’ – a versatile, slightly gray-toned green – reaches hundreds of customer baskets.
Meanwhile, terracotta takes over with ‘Frosted Papaya’, a peachy orange shade dominating the bathrooms.
However, not all H&M shoppers agreed with the spot, with some even sharing their plans to purchase the collection.
“My mom buys it,” one social media user revealed.
“I don’t, I think they’re cute,” said another H&M customer.
The collection can be found at H&M Home locations across the UK.
What’s the Jam approached H&M for a response.
