HMD 225 4G could be launching soon. The launch of the feature phone has not been confirmed by the company yet, but information regarding the model has surfaced online. The design, color options and key features of the alleged handset have been leaked. The leak includes the display, battery, chipset and other specifications of the expected phone. All the details surrounding the rumored phone suggest that it could be a rebranded Nokia 225 4G that was refreshed earlier this year.

The details of the HMD 225 4G are known leaked in an X (formerly Twitter) post from user @smashx_60. The bar handset appears to feature a rectangular display with large bezels and a single camera on the back, alongside an LED flash. The keypad area features dedicated navigation and buttons for answering and rejecting calls.

The leaked design of the HMD 225 4G resembles that of the Nokia 225 4G. The rear panel shows the HMD logo at the center, instead of the logo seen on the Nokia model. The phone is shown in three colors: blue, green, and pink.

The HMD 225 4G is expected to feature a 2.4-inch IPS LCD display with 400 nits peak brightness, as per the leak. The handset could be powered by a Unisoc T107 chipset. It is also likely to feature a 2-megapixel rear camera with support for HD video recording.
The leak adds that the HMD 225 4G could come with a 1,450mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging port. The handset is expected to support dual 4G LTE, FM radio and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The device could also come with a 3.5mm audio jack and an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
