Homeowner leaves VERY aggressive ticks on their bin to warn dog owners to stay away – so is it fair enough?
- A homeowner has written an aggressive letter to dog walkers not to use their trash
- The note said owner ‘would find them’ and called one walker a ‘rude b**ch’
- Some people sided with the owner and said it wasn’t fair for them to have a smelly trash can
- Others pointed out that it was better to use your own bin than to leave rubbish on the sidewalk
A homeowner has placed an aggressive sign on their bin to remind dog walkers to use public bins for rubbish and not their own bin.
A Reddit user spotted the rough sign while walking through Sydney’s inner west and shared a photo of it online.
The obtuse sign reads, “I’ll find out who you put your dog poop in my bin.”
“Shame on you, take a rude b**ch home.”
A homeowner has placed an aggressive sign on their bin to remind dog walkers to use public bins for rubbish and not their own bins
The note has sparked an online debate with some people believing it was better to put trash in a private bin than leaving it on the sidewalk, others said it wasn’t fair for the owner to be left with a smelly trash can.
“I’d rather have it in the bin than left on the sidewalk, but I can understand that some people are annoyed by this,” wrote one commenter.
“That’s true, but it sucks having to smell someone else’s dog when I’m throwing things in my bin. First world problems,” replied another user.
Commentators were divided on the situation as some agreed with the owner’s actions and others thought the sign was unnecessary
People who agreed with the woman were quick to point out how the garbage would make the bin stink — especially in the summer
‘Real? It’s certainly rude. I have a dog and make sure you carry it to a public box,” said another.
One user pointed out that the recent heat would make the owner’s bin stink even more and summer was an unfair time to share the bin.
“It’s summer, and that shit is rampant in the heat. If you’re not a dog owner yourself, the smell will hit you pretty hard in the face every time the lid is opened,” they said.
