Homeware fans race Primark to buy ‘expensive’ decor starting from £3.50

Although Primark is the go-to store for bargains, it’s not exactly known for looking more expensive than it is.

It is therefore no surprise that home accessories enthusiasts are rushing to the high street to get their hands on a new range that has been described as ‘the most expensive’ they have ever seen.

One woman took to her TikTok page to take a peek at the collection, which reads: “If you thought the most expensive vase at Primark for £12 couldn’t get much better…”

She then showed the vase in question: a beautiful cream-colored specimen, decorated with delicate gray flowers.

“You can find the matching diffuser vase for £3.50!!” she added, showing off the mini vase in the same design.

“The most expensive collection I’ve ever seen at Primark,” she added in the video’s caption.

The launch of the new range comes as Primark announced it is rolling out its click and collect service to an additional 54 stores in preparation for Christmas.

In addition to the existing women’s and children’s clothing, customers can also order and collect household items and men’s clothing.

The rollout will see the click and collect service available in more than half of Primark stores across the country.

It also shows that the company is on track to meet its goal of having the service available in all its stores by the end of 2025.

“It’s been 50 years since we first opened our doors in Derby to bring affordable fashion to the British high street,” said Kari Rodgers, Retail Director at Primark UK.

“And by expanding click and collect we give people more reasons to visit their local high street and Primark.”

“We know our customers appreciate the convenience and having access to a wider range of products than they would normally find in larger stores.

“We are very pleased to be opening the new stores where we can offer the service and further expand access to our range before the busy Christmas period begins.”

In addition to traditional home accessories, customers can also select and collect festive products, such as beautiful Christmas tablecloths and cushion covers.
