Honor Magic V3 design revealed ahead of July 12 launch
Honor Magic V3 will be unveiled in China on July 12 alongside the Honor Magic Vs3. The upcoming book-style foldable smartphone is said to be the successor to the Honor Magic V2 that was launched in China in July 2023 and later globally in September as the world’s thinnest foldable handset. Earlier, some of the key features of the Honor Magic V3 were tipped. Now, the company has revealed the phone’s design, which is claimed to be slimmer and lighter than the predecessor model.
Honor Magic V3 Design
Honor revealed the phone’s design on Weibo after. The Honor Magic V3 comes in a red color scheme with a vegan leather finish and a metallic gold frame. The circular camera module on the back is also bordered by an octagonal, metallic gold frame. The camera island showcases an elliptical LED flash alongside three camera units, including a periscopic telephoto sensor.
The power button is placed on the right side of the handset, while the volume rocker is placed on the left. The Honor Magic V3’s promotional poster confirms that it will run MagicOS out-of-the-box. The phone is also said to be more powerful, thinner and lighter than the Honor Magic V2.
Honor Magic V3 Features (Expected)
The Honor Magic V3 is more tipped will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will support satellite connectivity in China alongside 5.5G network. The handset is expected to weigh between 220-229 grams and will be backed by at least a 5,000mAh battery. It is also expected to support 66W wired fast charging.
In terms of cameras, the Honor Magic V3 is said to feature a 50-megapixel sensor. It is also said to come with an ultra-thin USB Type-C port. The phone is also expected to get an improved hinge with some sort of water resistance.
