Horrific road attack shakes Melbourne as driver fires gun before being tackled to the ground by bystanders

Brave bystanders managed to subdue a man after he allegedly fired a shot during a road rage incident in Melbourne’s north-east, police said.
Two cars are believed to have crashed in Doncaster at around 11am on Monday morning, near the junction of Williamsons and Manningham Road.
The 32-year-old driver of one of the cars then got out and allegedly fired a firearm.
Bystanders intervened and managed to keep the man under control until police arrived.
The 32-year-old suffered minor injuries and was arrested.
He is still being held at police stations and police were able to confiscate a firearm on the spot.
No one else was injured in the alleged incident. The driver of the other car will be questioned by police.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
