Horrifying video shows friend trapped in suitcase begging ‘I can’t breathe’ as his killer girlfriend films him
Disturbing cellphone footage showed a Florida woman accused of fatally suffocating her boyfriend in a suitcase giggling as he begged for help while trapped in luggage.
Sarah Boone, 46, was arrested in February 2020 after telling police she passed out after bagging Jorge Torres Jr, 42, during a booze-fueled hide-and-seek at their home in Winter Park, Florida.
However, footage from her phone shows him thrashing around in the suitcase and telling her: “I can’t fucking breathe” as she shouts at him.
Boone made two videos in which she laughed and taunted Torres as he begged for his life, according to prosecutors’ evidence.
Torres repeatedly called for Boone and she responded with a laugh, “For everything you did to me, f**k you, stupid.”

Sarah Boone (pictured), 46, has been charged with manslaughter over the suffocation death of her boyfriend
“I can’t fucking breathe, baby, seriously,” Torres said.
“Yes, that’s what you do when you strangle me,” Boone replied.
Torres kept calling for her help, pleading that he couldn’t breathe, and Boone told him, “That’s how I feel when you cheat on me.”
“I can’t breathe, Sarah,” Torres said. Boone replied, “Then you should probably keep your mouth shut.”
The videos show two different angles of the suitcase, one with the front of the bag facing up next to a slipper and another with the front on the ground.
Interrogation footage shows investigators wondered how Torres suffocated in the suitcase, which Boone said was an accident as they drunkenly played a game of hide-and-seek.
Boone said she and Torres were painting pictures, completing a puzzle and drinking Woodbridge Chardonnay when they decided to play hide and seek.
Boone said she hid in the shower upstairs, but Torres never went upstairs to look for her. When she got downstairs, she found Torres in the living room, and together they decided to let her zip up Torres into the blue suitcase, and she claimed she left two of his fingers sticking out of the zipper.
Torres kept calling for her help, pleading that he can’t breathe and Boone told him, “That’s how I feel when you cheat on me.”
Boone’s attorney claimed she suffered from battered wife syndrome, and that Torres (pictured) had a history of domestic violence
She has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge and on Monday the state offered her a plea deal, which she denied.
Jury selection for her trial begins on October 14 and she faces up to life in prison if convicted of manslaughter.
Last week, Boone requested professional hair and makeup for her murder trial, but her bold request was denied.
Boone has represented herself for much of her lawsuit since her arrest, and is now represented by her ninth attorney after eight others were fired or fired.
Her most recent attorney, James Owens, claimed she suffered from battered wife syndrome, and Torres had a history of domestic violence involving Boone, including a battery charge in 2018 related to a drunken altercation in their home.
