A man and woman have tragically died following a suspected botched robbery in Sydney’s west.
A 69-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman are believed to be fatally stabbed at Buzzy Bee’s Burger House, Cambridge Park, after officers found two bodies at around 9.40am on Saturday.
The police went to the scene after reports of an assault.
“A crime scene was established and police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, assisted by the State Crime Command’s homicide unit,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
‘No further information is available at this time.’
The deceased have yet to be officially identified, but it is reported that the couple were Buzzy Bee’s owners Hoa Tek Chien and Heang Kim Gau.
Locals offered their condolences to the family and expressed their shock.
‘Been coming to Busy Bees for years, such a beautiful family. Sad day for our community,” one Cambridge Park woman wrote.

Detectives spent around 9.40am on Saturday morning on Oxford Street in Cambridge’s Parks after reports of an attack
“May mommy and daddy rest in peace…their sons are in shock and so devastated right now. The community is here for you guys,” said another.
‘The robbery went wrong and resulted in both their lives being taken. Rest in peace. Cambo won’t be the same without them going there for 20 years,” another man wrote.
A woman said she waited in an alley with two boys as they “cried their eyes out inconsolably” after the incident.
