How Molly Mae and Tommy Fury will split their £9million fortune, making her richer
MOLLY-MAE and Tommy Fury have announced their split after five years of marriage.
The sad one news was announced by Molly-Mae on Instagram, when she shared an emotional statement revealing that their Love Island romance is over.
The couple reportedly have a net worth of £9million and they both have a number of different sources of income. But how will they divide it now that they’ve both split up?
Molly-Mae makes part of her money through YouTube videos, social media collaborations and fashion partnerships, but Tommy is no stranger to raking in the cash either.
Molly-Mae became a millionaire at the age of 21 thanks to lucrative brand deals and now has a fortune of a whopping £6million.
She amassed most of her vast fortune after becoming the creative director of PrettyLittleThing in August 2021.
As a professional boxer, Tommy generates income through sponsorship deals and boxing matches, as well as through a career as an online influencer.
Speaking to Fabulous, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said: “It’s really sad to see Tommy and Molly-Mae split. They’ve always been a brilliant celebrity couple and their heartfelt love story has shaped the hearts of the nation.
“I’m sure it will take a long time for them to get over the break and get their stuff in order.
“Tommy is worth around £4million and Molly-Mae around £8million. They live in a £4million house and will divide their assets fairly, I’m sure, with their young daughter Bambi in mind as they go through the divorce.”
Molly-Mae’s fortune
The former Love Island star earned a tidy sum last year despite stepping down from her role in Pretty Little Thing to focus on motherhood.
The 25-year-old made a whopping £3million in profits from MMH Group Holdings, the private company where she funnels her media income.
Her company, founded in 2019, also includes her cosmetics and tanning businesses, and her new lifestyle brand.
Despite accountsWith a total tax bill of £1.4 million, Molly could easily have received a dividend worth millions of pounds from her company.
There are no sales figures known to Companies House for the money that came through the tills of MMH or the four other companies Molly owns.
But assets did increase by £700,000 between 2022 and 2023 to £2.9m, as did retained earnings from £1.27m to £1.39m
She now has £5.3 million in assets in her companies.
Molly earned £1.5million in the year after winning Love Island with Tommy Fury.
But what does the future holding on to Molly after the split?
According to Nick, Molly has absolutely nothing to worry about, at least not when it comes to her assets.
“Molly is one of the biggest influencers in the UK and can earn tens of thousands of pounds per post, plus she will continue to get lucrative deals from brands,” Nick said.
“Tommy made a huge profit fighting Jake Paul and will continue to make a fortune from his fights and the potential brand deals he has.”
The extravagant gifts Molly-Mae was able to keep after Tommy Fury split
Over the five years of their relationship, the couple spent a small fortune on gifts for each other.
Last year, Molly-Mae showed off the £10,000 Chanel bag she received for her birthday from her then-boyfriend.
Following the birth of their daughter Bambi last year, Tommy also splashed out on a ‘push gift’ for the new mum in the form of a load of Crème De La Mer products, including a £220 body cream and a rejuvenating body lotion. oilworth £155.
But perhaps the boxer’s biggest splurge was his stunning engagement ring, which is believed to have cost a whopping £600,000.
According to Kyron Keogh, co-founder of ROX, the oval-cut diamond ring that Tommy Fury splashed out on is worth more than half a million pounds.
Kyron told E-mailOnline: “Molly-Mae’s engagement ring functions a beautiful oval diamond that looks like it weighs 6 carats. If it has good color and clarity it can have an estimated value of £600,000.
It’s not yet clear whether Molly-Mae will keep her sparkly ring, but Tommy may not be able to ask for it back if he wants to.
Tom Eastment, trainee lawyer at THE explained: “Section 3(3) of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1970 specifies that an engagement ring is to be regarded as an ‘absolute gift’ and as such belongs to the person to whom the ring is given.”
Not only that, but “the law does not take into account which partner breaks the engagement. So it does not matter who breaks the relationship, the ring does not have to be returned.”
The couple’s house
Molly-Mae is said to have spent a whopping £3.5million on her Ceshire mansion, and then spent thousands more renovating the house to her taste.
The house is believed to have six bedrooms, a gym, Dressing room465 m² of land and a spacious garden.
But despite all the time and money Molly has put into creating her luxury home, she announced in April that she is “planning” to move after all.
This could mean that Molly-Mae and Tommy no longer live in the house after they split.

While the couple have both had incredibly successful careers so far, Nick suggested that Molly “will probably have the most successful career.”
