Brisbane from Brisbane, who is behind the popular Instagram account ‘Look what I found’, shared her festive hack for creating elegant decorative Christmas trees

“For this little project I used some Cone Plant Trainers – hubby has heaps in the garden so I tweaked some,” Michelle wrote.

She wrapped five of Kmart’s $8 battery-operated tinsel lights around the cone with wires to hold it in place.

“I made sure the battery compartment was easily accessible by placing it close to the bottom of the cone,” she advised.

For the tree feet, Michelle found two unused plant pots she had around the house and painted them white using a turntable her handy husband had made.

She said the trees are perfect for adding festive decor to the entryway of her home.

“I thought about adding a star or more lights, but I found them very simplistic,” she wrote.
