How to Make Delicious Airfryer Buffalo Chicken Wings in 25 Minutes
When I first started cooking with an Airfryer years ago, I mainly used it to reheat frozen food. It was efficient, and I actually started preferring it over my oven. But when I discovered I could use it to cook chicken from scratch, it became my favorite kitchen appliance of all time.
So far, I’ve found that chicken wings are my favorite meal to make in the air fryer. They’re simple, quick, and delicious — and best of all, cleanup is a breeze since there are very few plates involved in this recipe.
While you can make any flavor of wings in the air fryer, my favorites are these simple buffalo chicken wings. Read on to learn how to make them yourself.
Ingredients for buffalo chicken wings from the airfryer:
- 1 package chicken wings (about 15 wings)
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Hot Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How to make 25 minute chicken wings in the air fryer:
Step 1: Pat the chicken wings dry, place them in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 2: Mix the herbs, sprinkle over the wings and mix well.
Step 3: Place the wings in a single layer in the airfryer and bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees. Turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 4: While the wings are cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan. Add Frank’s RedHot Hot Sauce (or other hot sauce of your choice) and bring to a simmer over low heat.
Step 5: When the wings are cooked through and have an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees, place them in a clean mixing bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over them.
Step 6: Toss the wings until completely coated and serve warm.
