Roast potatoes can take over an hour to cook in a conventional oven, but with a microwave and an air fryer you can make the tastiest roast potatoes of your life in under 15 minutes.

Baked potatoes are the perfect addition to summer BBQ Favoritesbut while steak, burgers And dogs are ready in no time, but baked potatoes take a lot of time and gas or electricity to cook.

With this speedy method of baking potatoes, the nuclear rays of a microwave will blast the potato until tender and cooked through in about 10 minutes, while an air fryer can crisp the outer skin in just two minutes or less. By my count, that’s 12 minutes for a baked potato that’s as good or better than anything you can make in the oven.

  • Step 1: Prick air holes in the potato with a fork
  • Step 2: Microwave the potato on high for 10 minutes, or until cooked through and easily pierced with a fork.
  • Step 3: Cut the potato in half and mix with melted butter or olive oil. You can also fill the potato with cheese or bacon.
  • Step 4: Airfryer on high heat with the skin side up for 1 minute. Flip and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes or until desired crispness is reached. (If filling with cheese or bacon, cook skin side down only.)
