How to style the jazzy jeans trend – including a Zara dupe that’s £410 cheaper

To give your denim a touch of sparkle, you need the ‘jazzy jeans’.

Sparkly jeans are not only suitable for a night out, they are actually much more versatile than you think.
This pair from Reserved fits like a dream and is super comfortable – I opted for a size up because I didn’t want them to be too tight, especially around the holidays.
While I have worn them for a night out with a black top and a glittery bag, I have also worn them to the office.
This blue sweater from Zara really adds a pop of color and looks great with the jeans.
With a pair of heeled boots and a tote bag, these jeans are sure to add something fun to your look and you’ll have a lot of fun wearing them.
Next weekend I’ll swap the boots for sneakers for a more relaxed look.

At Christmas, more is definitely more when it comes to festive clothing, so you can really upgrade your “jeans and a nice top” by adding plenty of texture and print!
These hand-embellished jeans from Next really feel designer, as they are super soft denim with a great barrel leg.
I added an OTT leopard print bow blouse, embellished boots, a beaded bag, and a sleek red lip for a festive look that feels put together without looking like I’m trying too hard!

These black diamond jeans from Mint Velvet add a subtle touch of glitter without being too extravagant.

I added a velvet bow bag for an extra bit of glamour, as well as a pair of classic black pumps to go with everything.

I never really embraced jazzy jeans until this year, and now I’m totally into them.
I first saw a pair from Self Portrait on Net-A-porter for £480, but these from Zara are similar and a fraction of the price.
Dressing in winter can be a daunting task, especially if you’re looking for an outfit that’s both festive and warm, but these jeans are the perfect solution!
I’m wearing mine on Christmas Day because I’m going out of the house to a country pub for lunch and I want to feel a bit dressed up.
These jeans make a statement on their own, so I styled them with a simple white vest and this season’s must-have faux fur jacket.
I completed the look with a diamond bag and slingbacks to add an extra touch of sparkle.

CLEMMIE Fieldsend, fashion editor at Fabulous, has shared her top tips for looking fabulous this Christmas.
AVOID: Christmas sweaters
They are no longer a novelty, they have now become boring again and do not belong at a festive party.
By all means, go all in for Christmas Sweater Day for Save The Children, but never wear it before or after that day.
WEAR: Burgundy
At this time of year you can’t avoid burgundy and it is a luxurious, deep and rich color that is a welcome change from the Christmas red at Christmas.
Opt for silky textures or velvet for extra style points.
AVOID: PJs
The trend of feather-trimmed combination sets has had its day and is so dated.
This year, don’t break out your hair-plucked pair and buy a new set, instead, still go for the satin two-piece, but stay away from the plumes.
WEAR: Sequin dress
Try changing up the sequins a bit by wearing them with a different texture or color, for example a sequin skirt with a tight knit.
But if you really don’t know what to wear, reach for the sequins, it is Christmas after all.
AVOID: Sequin blazer
There’s nothing worse than showing up to a festive gig that looks like the hired entertainment.
Leave the sequin blazer to magicians and strict judges, but always opt for a classic tuxedo style or velvet instead.
WEAR: Bling pants
Last season, embellished jeans with diamond bling were having a moment, and this year they’re going to be just as big a hit.
If you don’t want gemstones pinging everywhere, try metallic PU pants.
