How to use MW3 Double XP Tokens in Black Ops 6
If you’re looking for your next dual experience in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you’re not alone. Longtime Call of Duty players will want to use their old double XP tokens in the latest game in the franchise, but Treyarch hasn’t patched the ability to use MW3 double XP tokens in the Black Ops 6 menu yet.
However, there is a popular solution that many players use that allows you to access your stash of double XP from previous games. Even if you don’t have any older Double XP Tokens, the recent release of the Season 1 Battle Pass has given new players the chance to stock up on Double Player XP and Double Weapon XP Tokens to speed up their account progress.
Whether you’re not sure how to use your MW3 Double XP Tokens or don’t know how to get more Double XP Tokens to keep rising quickly after the recent Double XP Weekend, we’re here to help. Here’s how you can now use Double XP Tokens in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
What Happens to MW3 Double XP Tokens in Black Ops 6?
When players started trying out the multiplayer and zombie modes in the latest Call of Duty game, they were in for a nasty surprise: none of the double XP tokens they previously earned in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 could be activated in Black Ops 6 lobbies.
In Season 1, old double XP tokens were reintegrated, but a day later they were quietly removed from the game again. Black Ops 6 players were outraged by this turn of events, with some particularly devious individuals taking action to find a loophole that would allow them to activate double XP tokens outside of Black Ops 6’s multiplayer lobbies.
On Saturday, developer Treyarch apologizedadmitting that the old double XP tokens were removed because the feature “posed a potential risk to game stability.” The development team once again committed to bringing old double XP tokens back to Black Ops 6, and acknowledged – and officially approved – the use of the loophole that players have been using in the meantime to activate their old double XP tokens .

How to use legacy double XP tokens in Black Ops 6
While Treyarch is working on a patch that will allow players to activate their double XP tokens from the Black Ops 6 multiplayer menu, there is currently no way to use your old double XP tokens while the game is open. However, there is a workaround approved by the development team that will allow you to use the double XP tokens you previously collected in the game’s multiplayer modes.
To use your Warzone double XP tokens in Black Ops 6, you’ll need to load Warzone and select a mode to enter a lobby. Once you’re there, you can access the Double XP Token menu at the bottom right, where you can activate all your Warzone Double XP Tokens. If you return to Black Ops 6’s multiplayer or zombie mode, you will have double XP active for the remaining duration of the Warzone token boost.
