How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024
Today marks the second Samsung Galaxy Unpacked of the year. And we’re guessing it’s going to be a big one, with the expected unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring. We can also expect the odd surprise like new Galaxy Buds, and of course, a lot of talk about AI.
And we’ve set up a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July liveblog to bring you all the breaking news and leaks in the run up to the showcase, as well as beat-by-beat analysis of the announcements. We’ve also got TechRadar folks on the ground at the launch event in Paris, so we’ll be here to bring you everything you need to know about Samsung’s next-gen product suite.

How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 live
Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to take place on Wednesday, July 10, with the keynote livestream kicking off at 6am PT / 9pm ET / 2pm GMT / 11pm AEDT.

Unfortunately, there is currently no such offer in the US, but you can can Reserve $50 credit toward a pre-order of one of Samsung’s yet-to-be-announced devices. You’ll also be entered into a $5,000 Samsung Credit sweepstakes for doing so.

What to expect from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024
In short, we’re expecting to see two new foldable phones revealed at this month’s Unpacked showroom, as well as new Galaxy watches, the Galaxy Ring, and possibly some new Galaxy Buds.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are rumored to be iterative updates on their respective predecessors. Both models are expected to get the blazing-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, as well as the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s AI-powered photography features and some minor design changes.
For example, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 may get a slightly larger cover display, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 may get some minor improvements when it comes to the appearance of its rear cameras.
As for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, we expect to see a new Exynos W1000 chipset for both models, more base storage for the Watch 7, and larger battery and screen sizes for the Watch Ultra.
The Galaxy Ring could very well be the star of this month’s Unpacked event, as Samsung already announced the long-awaited health tracking device during its Galaxy S24 launch event in January. Various Galaxy Ring features have already leaked, including heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, period prediction and skin temperature monitoring, so we’re eager to see the much-hyped wearable in action.
We’re pretty sure Samsung will also debut some earbuds at Galaxy Unpacked 2024, specifically the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. These new earbuds are expected to feature several upgrades over the previous model, including sound upgrades, smarter ANC, ‘blade lights’, and AirPods Pro-like stems.
