How to Watch the 2024 Harris-Trump Presidential Debate for Free

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will participate in their first presidential debate, scheduled for Tuesday, September 10. ABC News will host the debate from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. David Muir and Linsey Davis will serve as moderators.

Tuesday’s debate will last 90 minutes, with two commercial breaks. There will be no audience on site, and the candidates’ microphones will be muted when it’s time for the other candidate to speak. The debaters will not be allowed to ask each other questions.

As with the previous presidential debate between Biden and Trump, there will be no opening statements at this event. Harris and Trump will jump right into answering questions from the moderators. They will each have 2 minutes for their answers, 2 minutes for rebuttals, and 1 minute for follow-up questions, clarifications, or responses. No props or pre-written notes will be allowed.

Harris and Trump will face off live in the first 2024 presidential debate on Tuesday, September 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. PT). The event will be broadcast live on the 24/7 streaming network ABC News Live free.
