Can England end their 58-year wait for a major trophy, or will Spain claim their fourth European title in Sunday’s spectacular UEFA Euro 2024 final?

Despite much criticism from pundits and fans at home for their performance in Germany, Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions are on the brink of glory for the first time since the 1966 World Cup. England reach the final after a thrilling last-four clash with the Netherlands, which they won 2-1 thanks to a dramatic injury-time winner from Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.

Spain are widely regarded as the most impressive team at Euro 2024, with their season seeing the emergence of a number of promising young talents for La Roja, including teenager Lamine Yamal, who scored in his side’s 2-1 semi-final win over France.

Spain will play England on Sunday 14 July at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 CET local time in Germany, making it a 8 hour BST start in the UK. In the US and Canada it is a 3:00pm ET or 12:00pm PT start, as the game gets going 05:00 AM AEST in Australia on Monday.

Below we outline the best live tv streaming services so you can follow the match live, wherever you are in the world.

Sunday’s match at Berlin’s Olympiastadion will be only the 12th time England have played Spain in an official match (FIFA World Cup, European Championships, qualifying matches and Nations League). England have the upper hand, having won five to Spain’s four in those encounters.

How to watch every Euro 2024 final online wherever you are using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to watch Euro 2024 matches locally, you may need another way to watch the tournament. In that case, a VPN may come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to prevent your ISP from throttling your speed on match day by encrypting your traffic. It’s also a good idea if you’re travelling and connected to a Wi-Fi network and want to add an extra layer of privacy to your devices and login details.

A VPN allows you to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to access the game. Most VPNs, such as our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPNmake it really easy to do this.

It’s legal to use a VPN to watch or stream sports in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK, and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming from. You’ll want to make sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service can terminate the account of anyone it sees as circumventing properly enforced blackout restrictions.

How to watch the 2024 European Championship final online from anywhere with a VPN

  • Depending on four variables (your internet service provider, browser, video streaming provider, and VPN) your experiences and success with streaming Spain vs England can vary.
  • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try the ‘Search by city or country’ option.
  • If you’re having issues with gameplay after enabling your VPN and setting it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log in to your streaming service subscription account and make sure that the address registered to the account is one in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address stored with your account. Second, some smart TVs, like Roku, don’t have VPN apps that you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll need to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that every device on the Wi-Fi network will now appear in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main sites for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after installing a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to the email address stored for your smart TV. This is where a VPN on your router also helps, as both devices appear to be in the correct location.
  • Remember that browsers can often reveal your location despite using a VPN, so make sure you use a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We usually recommend Brave.
