Rob Beckett has apologized to fans after he is forced to cancel his upcoming stand-up shows in Scotland this week due to poor health.
The popular comedian, 39, went to his Instagram stories to break the news and to give a sincere apology because he admitted that he was too unwell to act.
He was ready to bring his comic tour, giraffe, to Aberdeen Music Hall and Edinburgh Playhouse this week, but explained that the performances have now been moved before January next year.
In his statement Rob wrote: ‘Hello everyone, I’m so sorry, but I’m not good and can’t do the shows in Scotland this week.
“Aberdeen is again planned until Wednesday, January 14, 20206 and Edinburgh has been moved until Thursday, January 15, 2026. The location will contact, but tickets will remain valid for both shows.”
He concluded: “I hate to do this, but I am not good enough to give you the best possible show, but I look at you all out on the new shows.”

The Celebs Go Dating Star takes the Tour free from the Tour the next few months before it is recommended in Liverpool in September, with shows in Sheffield, Southend, Buxton, Oxford, Belfast, Derry and Dublin.
The following month, Rob will start with shows in Australia and New Zealand, before he returns to the UK for dates in Leicester, Coventry, Halifax, Newcastle, Hull, Bristol, Nottingham and Eastbourne.
While De Ster will continue the Giraffe tour in the new year, with the Response Scotland shows followed by performances in Dubai, Brighton and London.
After completing the Mammoet tour, however, Rob revealed that he stops touring a tour to prioritize spending time with his children.
He is the proud father of two daughters with his wife Louise, whose names and faces he keeps private, even though he is incredibly open about the highlights and lows of parenting on his podcast parenting with co-host Josh Widdicombe.
And in March he admitted Sun That he wanted to tour on a break until his two daughters were all mature.
Rob said: ‘I will still get up and local clubs and charity performances, but I’m going to take a break from touring until the children are 16/17.
“Then I will do a big tour if they are sixth and when they go to Uni, I and Lou will continue and march around in Australia.”

He revealed another of his ambitions for the future, added: “When I am 50, I want to do a psychology rate.”
In the meantime, Rob also stopped his Sunday afternoon show on Radio 2 In April, after taking over the late Paul O’grady in 2022.

He explained: ‘Every Sunday I had such a smile to get to know the listeners, but while my tour schedule is aware of my family and forget my family what I look like, I decided to get away from a weekly show.
“But you will not get away with me so easily, because I will present shows on Radio 2 again later in the year when the normal service is resumed!”
Helen Thomas, head of Radio 2, added: ‘I want to thank Rob for his brilliant work every Sunday evening. It stays in the Radio 2 family and will be heard at the station at a later date. ‘
