Hundreds of people angry over ‘dirty’ and ‘disgusting’ act of man on plane: ‘This is why I always get the aisle seat’

A passenger has been criticised by hundreds of people for his “rude” and “selfish” behaviour on board a plane.

Brenda, from Nebraska, sat comfortably in the center aisle until the passenger next to her took his spot.

The ‘rude’ man spread his legs so wide that one of his legs was on Brenda’s side and touching her leg, making her feel uncomfortable.

“Why do so many men on airplanes think they can take up other people’s space?” she wrote angrily on Facebook alongside a photo of his leg.

“This guy’s got his entire left leg in my legroom. Come on! I don’t even know you! I hate not having an aisle seat.”

Hundreds of people were shocked by the man’s “brutality,” “liability” and disregard for cabin etiquette.

The photo shows the man’s leg leaning over Brenda’s space, with many people urging her to push back or say something.

“Manspreading is almost as frustrating as mansplaining,” someone noted.

“Nothing is more disgusting than a stranger’s leg touching yours. Especially a bare leg. Trigger for me!” said another.

“Yeah why is it always men who think they can invade your space? Be subtle and push him back into his own corner,” wrote a third.

Another agreed, saying Brenda had to “fight back” to reclaim the space.

“I’m done moving for men. When I walk in public, I don’t move out of the way anymore. Men expect us to move. No. F*** that,” she wrote.

Another said, “That’s why I always try to get an aisle seat so I can keep my legs out of the way.”

Another woman said that when she gets to the chair first, she “always puts her leg on the edge of the boundary” and doesn’t move an inch to “claim the ground.”

While many agreed that the man’s actions were “annoying,” they also blamed the airline for the lack of space.

“This is the fault of greedy airlines who put seats too close together,” one of them said.

Another wrote: ‘I blame the greedy airlines. The seating is ridiculously small. Big people struggle to fit in and not everyone can afford business class.’

Someone else said: ‘My ex is so tall that he cannot mathematically keep his legs parallel from pelvis to kneecap unless he pulls them up over the back of the seat. Airplanes are truly awful. You should have asked him to request an exit row seat when boarding.’
