In his viral videoYulia Hayek’s husband (@de_hayeks) showed his followers the DIY process.

“Point of view: You surprise your wife with a homemade dressing table,” he wrote in the clip.

The TikTokker started by emptying his wife’s makeup bag onto a round tray.

He placed all her daily products, which were all still full, on the plastic material.

The beauty products sold included products from luxury brands such as YSL and Dior.

After laying all the cosmetics face up, he mixed Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin A and B and poured it over the tray.

He continued filling the bowl until all the products were completely covered.

In a second clampthe TikToker showed his audience an update of the homemade vanity.

However, the resin had not dried properly, causing the products to protrude at the top.

Because this meant the table surface would be uneven, the couple scrapped the project.

I fell in love with a piece of art from Molly-Mae’s house but I didn’t want to pay £1,400 for it so I made it myself for £65

Yulia explained that she liked the idea so much that they planned to repeat the DIY project.

TikTok users shared their thoughts about the vanity in the comments.

“WHAT did you DO?” asked one shocked viewer.

“Sir, I would like to confirm that the packages are empty,” said another follower.

“That’s cute but she gets mad because all her expensive products are stuck in it,” a third person commented.
