A TEACHER has revealed the strict rules she has for her future children.
Mrs Wright, a British secondary school teacher, said that not only will she know her child’s phone password, but she will also check her child’s mobile phone every week.

The teacher left many people amazed with her strict rules, which she shared on social media.
In her short video she revealed the five things she won’t allow her future teenage children to do.
The teacher pointed out that smartphones are very powerful things and claimed that there are “so many security incidents involving phones” in school.
She explained that she is not just talking about ‘stranger danger’, but that she also recognises the ‘colleague-versus-colleague’ issue.
As a result, she revealed: “If my child has a smartphone before they are 14, I have to check it weekly, they have to share their passcode with me and this continues until they are 16.”
The teacher acknowledged that she might receive “some hate and some backlash” for not giving her future child “enough privacy,” but she maintained that she doesn’t think children that age need privacy in that regard.
Furthermore, she claimed that if her child did have a phone, they were not allowed to use it after 7pm in grade 7, and only until 8pm in grade 8 and above.
Secondly, the teacher explained that her children cannot simply refuse to play sports.
She said: “I come from a family that is very physically fit and does a lot of sport. Sport is something that is very important to me and the rest of my family, so I want to continue doing that.”
She argues that sports give teenagers the opportunity to practice their life skills and develop resilience and communication, which is why she thinks it is so important.
In addition, the teacher explained that her future children will no longer be able to refuse to read once they are in primary school.
She added: “Not only will I read to them every night before bed, but they will also have to read to themselves every night – they can choose whatever book they want, as long as it’s appropriate.”

With an astonishing one in four Irish six-year-olds owning a smartphone, Education Minister Norma Foley has called for more parental involvement in online safety conversations as new statistics reveal worrying trends in smartphone use among children.
The research, commissioned by Irish online safety charity CyberSafeKids to mark Safer Internet Day, found that more than half of parents are not confident they can keep their children safe online, despite over 80 per cent believing it is their responsibility.
Experts say the findings highlight the risky environments in which some children enter the online world.
Furthermore, the teacher continued, “My child can’t choose his own bedtime – sleep is very important, so bedtime is 9:00 p.m. and lights out at 9:30 p.m..”
Finally, the content creator explained that she won’t let her future children be defined by their grades, including goal Numbers.
She stressed that she disagrees with the way the targets have been set and generated and therefore concluded: “If my future child is not so good at school, that’s not a problem. They just have to find something they like.”

Social media users were divided over the teacher’s ideas, with some eager to agree, others quick to disagree, and many taking to the comments to share their thoughts.

But at the same time, there were also many who disagreed, as one said: “My mom used to check my phone and it kind of ruined our relationship because I would tell my friends things that made me uncomfortable and that I didn’t want to talk to her about.”
