- FCC application reveals further details, including refined checks
If money was not an object, the amazing Hasselblad X2D 100C would probably be my first choice Camera. The looks, handling and image quality of the minimalist 100MP medium format camera are upper drawer.
However, it is far from the perfect camera. I don’t mind that it is a camera with only photography (that’s right, no video recording options). But what somewhat spoiled my experience was the slow autofocus performance during testing – a disadvantage that could be tackled with his rumors emerging successor.
Mirrorlessrumors has marked an FCC application for a Hasselblad X2D 100c II, which not only contains the first correct images of the second-gene model, but also outlines various new functions. Chief is Lidar Autofocus.
If an upcoming Hasselblad X2D 100C II Lidar Autofocus strengthens, this would represent the first meaningful update thanks to thanks DJI Since the Chinese-Tech Gigant and Leading Dronemaker Hasselblad taken over, and it could not have chosen a better upgrade.
Be informed
I love the image quality of the X2D 100c II, so much even that it Put my full-frame Nikon camera in the shade. In contrast to my modest Z6 II, however, I could not rely on his autofocus for sharp focus where it wanted, such as the eyes of a person in a portrait.
Yes, improved autofocus is at the top of my X2D 100C II Upgrade Wishlistand the promise of expensive Lidar Autofocus, which is used by DJIs Ronin 4D And will probably deliver a huge boost in autofocus performance, is exciting news.
Elsewhere, the new images reveal a new joystick control and refined button layout, while internal SSD storage could again be a maximum of 1 TB, together with a CFExpress B card slot.
Otherwise I do not expect many other meaningful improvements, not that many were needed-de x2d 100c II will apparently have the same or similar 100MP sensor with classes leading 8ev in-body image stabilization, 16-bit color depth and 15-stops dynamic range, for probably the best photo quality you can get to the affordable side of £ 10k.
Depending on how you look at it, the rumors X2D 100c II is a small update of the X2D 100C. But for me it seems to fulfill my “if I had one wish”. How does rumors X2D 100c II sound for you? Let me know in the comments below.
