The former Senior Fashion Buyer shared her clip online with the caption: ‘I think I’ve found the BEST high street Faux Leather Trousers and they’re only £22.50!! Ladies these are an amazing f&f buy let me know what you think.’
Kicking off her haul, the content creator said: “At this point it’s dangerous for me to go to a Tesco. I only went there for milk, I made some fantastic finds.”
Rebecca showed off her new faux leather trousers, which cost just £22.50, and she beamed: “These faux leather trousers are by far the best I’ve ever tried on on the street.
“They are a great value for money, they have the perfect fit and they are super flattering.”
She paired the trousers with a £15 bodysuit, adding: ‘You can wear these trousers both formally and informally, however Nice Would these have a heel? You could wear them to your Christmas party.
“You can also make them a bit more casual with a chunky sweater and some thick Chelsea boots.”
Then we saw Rebecca in a burgundy dress, as she continued: “I thought this dress would be a beautiful winter piece to have in your wardrobe.
“It’s the color of the season and it’s a really pretty print. It would also make a really nice workwear dress.
“It has a self-tie belt, so you can wear it open. For me, it’s such a nice, puffy dress that you can wear all winter long.”
Reasons to buy supermarket fashion
When you’re looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or want to update your basics, you don’t have to spend hours scouring the shops or scrolling online. Just buy a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg…
They are handy – Chances are that you go to the supermarket more often than to a shopping mall or high street.
It is affordable – Supermarkets are leaders in budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap, from basic items to more fashionable pieces.
They are more fashionable than you might think – Because their customer base is larger than that of the average high street store, stores like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are better able to respond to the market and predict trends in many more areas than just food supply.
They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a bit more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often very practical too: think lots of 100% cotton that can be thrown in the washing machine without a second thought.
Next up, Rebecca showed off her new long-leg jeans, which cost just £22.50, which she paired with a £25 jumper.
She was very happy with her new outfit, explaining: “There’s a bit of stretch in them, so they’re super comfortable.
“I love the colour of this knit. It’s super soft, doesn’t itch and has a really nice weight, so it keeps you nice and warm in the winter.”
Another great catch!

Rebecca managed to get her hands on another jumper, which cost £22.50. She said: “It’s a really pretty colour, it would look great with blue and black denim too.”
But the sweaters didn’t stop there, as Rebecca was thrilled with her new £22.50 knitted hoodie.
The influencer shared: “I love this knitted hoodie, it’s such a nice quality, feels very premium and has wide sleeves.
“It feels super comfortable and it doesn’t itch. I also like that it’s a butt cover.”
Is supermarket fashion the new high street?
DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:
Supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, when you pop in to do your weekly shop, you can also pick up a selection of wallet-friendly, stylish items for the whole family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 percent rise in the quarter thanks to ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earned the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s George clothing line earned the supermarket £1.5m in 2023, 80 per cent of clothes at Sainsbury’s were sold at full price rather than discounted, and sales of Nutmeg at Morrisons have also risen by 2 per cent over the past year.
How is it that supermarket fashion is so successful?
The clothing is not only affordable but also of good quality, and much of the clothing is part of programs such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
They often stick to classic pieces that they know will last for years.
And because they buy so much stock, they can deliver quickly and the volumes are cheaper.
Finally, we saw Rebecca looking stunning in a £27.50 black dress, perfect for staying stylish this season.
Delighted with her purchase, the fashionista said: “Who doesn’t love a little black dress in the winter? It’s such an easy way to get through the holidays.
“This is a really pretty one. It’s a bodycon style with lace overlay.
“I really love the sleeves. It’s a very pretty dress.”
