I bought a bottle of designer perfume for $665, but I prefer a knockoff perfume that costs 93% less
FRAGRANCES can cost an arm and a leg, but one mom has found the perfect fragrance solution for herself and her family.
She was once loyal to more expensive perfumes, but found a way to spend less.
Reddit user Dark-two-378 posted a comment on the platform about her fragrant purchase.
She said she buys the perfume dupes not only for herself, but also for her daughter and husband.
The mother enthusiastically said that the scents smell ‘exactly the same’.
She added that she doesn’t plan on switching back to more expensive perfumes anytime soon.

“Many of them outperform the originals.”
The mother said she was a big fan of Baccarat Rouge 540 from Maison Francis Kurkdjianwhich retails for $665 for a 6.8 fluid ounce bottle.
She even shared the bottle with her family.
“Unfortunately, my husband and I are both blind to it,” she said.
Murky-two-378 found an alternative way to re-ignite the scent for much less money.
“Dossier’s version of Baccarat Rouge, called Ambery Saffron, smells identical on the skin in a multi-arm test,” she said.
“But it seems closer and we are not blindly looking at it.”
Ambery Saffron from Dossier costs $49 for 3.4 fluid ounces.
“We each have a bottle of Ambery Saffron, which we reach for even though there is still a good 30ml left in the bottle of Baccarat Rouge,” she said.
“We prefer the Dossier version.
“My daughter told me today that she prefers Dossier’s version of J’Adore because it smells better and lasts longer.”
Murky-two-378 added that she plans to continue shopping for her perfumes through Dossier.
“I could go on and on about Dossier fragrances,” she said. “We love them and will continue to buy them.”
