I bought a Dollar Tree dupe for Laneige’s lip masks – the lasting power of them shocked me
A BARGAIN HUNTER has proven that her Dollar Tree knockoff can give her perfect lips without breaking the bank.
And now, through those lips, she told everyone that she had paid only a fraction of the price for this sustainable, frugal find.
In a now viral video, TikToker Kellie Flanagan (@klf_skincare) shared how she found a much cheaper alternative to Laneige’s $24 lip masks at Dollar Tree.
All she needed was the $1.25 B-Pure Hydrating Night Lip Mask for all the hydrating benefits without having to spend a lot of money.
“I believe that a good product is about composition and more than just pretty packaging or a high price tag,” she says.
And that wasn’t all she got for her money.

“I was shocked by how long-lasting it is. My lips stay hydrated overnight or throughout the day and the product has a light pink tint out of the package,” she said.
“It doesn’t contain any color pigments when you apply it on your lips, so you can use it any time of the day,” she added.
She knew she had found someone who would save her. It’s safe to say that she probably finds her life preserver in her bag most of the time.
“Even now I still buy it, and for $1.25 you can’t beat this beauty deal!” she said.
She said the packaging looked similar to the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Sleeping Mask, but it was all about the contents.
“In terms of the formula and consistency, it reminded me of the original Laneige lip mask formula, which typically comes in a small jar,” she said.
She knew not to be fooled by the fact that her dollar deal was in a tube.
It was love at first sight for this lip care variant. As soon as she squeezed the tube to get the product out, she immediately said ‘yes’.
The secret lies in the fact that the mask contains hyaluronic acid and that it is a counterfeit of the masks of a much more expensive brand.
And that is not without reason.
“It doesn’t say it has a scent, but I think it’s most like cherry or berry, like Laneige,” she said.
“I really love this formula, even more than I thought I would. It’s a great find at Dollar Tree,” she added.
Finnegan is certainly no stranger to finding Dollar Tree bargains.
“I love searching for affordable dupes at Dollar Tree. My personal beauty collection includes a variety of products — from drugstore to high-end brands and everything in between,” she said.
“But my real passion lies in finding affordable products that really work,” she adds.
Now she likes to share her love of spending less via her social media channels.
Others certainly followed her advice.
“I just got one,” said an onlooker.
“Dreamy,” another commented.
