I bought the Sol de Janeiro dupes at Five Below, Bath & Body Works, and Target
A budget-friendly shopper took viewers along as she searched for beauty products similar to a popular brand at three popular stores.
She collected as many Sol de Janeiro knockoffs as she could from Five Below, Bath & Body Works, and Target.
Self-proclaimed “TikTok sister” Amanda Turinksky (@amandaturinsky) loves bargains and went on a wild quest to find them.
In a TikTok videoshe shared her ‘much sought-after’ dupe haul of affordable products.
Amanda traveled to three stores to purchase their extensive range of items similar to Sol de Janeiro.
The brand’s popular Brazilian Bum Bum Cream costs $48 and has a long-lasting, floral, fragrant scent.
The skin-tightening body cream also contains caffeine and Guaraná extract, which visibly tighten the skin.
FIVE UNDER
The first store she went to was Five Below and she was impressed by the huge selection.
“Apparently they have a lot of Sol de Janeiro body butters, sprays. All that good stuff,” she said.
When she entered, she immediately “found” it.
“First store, first try. Get out of here,” she said.
She read two rows containing Solar Flare Shimmer Body Oil, $5, in the scents Pink Hibiscus and Brazilian Caramel Dreams, which she had “heard really good things about.”
“This one should be the same as the 62 dupe,” she said of the latter.
Amanda also stocked up on the Solar Flare Body Butter for $5 in Hibiscus Dragonfruit and Caramel Dreams flavors.
It was the products from the entire collection that most closely resembled the packaging of the original skincare products.
“I don’t know which one this is, but we’re going to get them all,” she said.
She picked up one of each scent of the body oil and body butter and also added two of the brand’s body mists to her cart.
“I slept at Five Below. What the hell?” she said.
“The Five Below body butter dupes are so good!” one viewer commented.
GOAL
Next, she went to the Target grocery store, admittedly, for two things.
“I’m actually looking for the perfume Finery from the Carolinas, and they are supposed to have an imitation of the 62 Sol de Janeiro.
She explained that Tree Hut’s Tropic Glow should come in a “really close second.”

While browsing the shelves, she found the Tree Hut Tropic Glow Body Butter and the Tropic Glow Sugar Scrub for $9.99 each.
Like the Bum Bum Cream, the sugar scrub is said to have ‘firming’ properties.
She took one of each and paid.
BATH AND BODY WORK
Her last stop in search of the counterfeit products was Bath & Body Works.
Because she had success at the first two stores, she was skeptical about finding it.
“I should have knocked on wood or something because now I’m afraid I’m going to jinx myself and we’re just going to walk in here and they’re completely sold out,” she admitted.
Her luck didn’t run out and she spotted them before she opened the door.
She made sure to take ‘one copy of everything’.
In the body butters she found the scents Vacation Vibe and Solar Shine.
Because the Pink Paradise body butter was out of stock, she bought the body oil and body spray instead.
Amanda saw that they also sold a body scrub in the scents, but decided not to buy it.
Considering all she gathered during her daily activities, she was well provided for for the time being.
“Good luck. We can’t believe how lucky I got today,” she cheered.
Several viewers agreed and gave positive feedback.
“If you want Sol de Janeiro dupes, go to Bath and Body Works like she did. Worth the money and the trip,” someone commented.
“I’m quite impressed with the comparison. They’ve done a good job of replicating it,” she replied.
Amanda confirmed that the total cost of all the goodies was “not that bad” and she had a trick to saving money.
“Bath & Body Works had a sale and I had a coupon. Five Below was $5 each and Target had coupons too,” she explained.
