I cannot decide whether the new pro-Oeject turntable with Charlie Brown’s head on the dish is cute or creepy, but it is definitely a nice collector edition

This year is the 75th anniversary of the very first Peanuts strip story, and to mark it, Pro project has created a turntable with peanuts with Charlie Brown on the acrylic record plate and peanut panels inspired by the Turntable Plint. All you have to do is find a suitable record to play on it, such as-Ahem-Snoop-Y Doggy Dogg.
Under the strip capers you will find a belt-driven turntable based on the excellent T1 BT turning tables from Pro-Ocean. That is the model with a built-in phono-stage and Bluetooth transmission for shipment to wireless speakers or headphone.
Pro-Oject peanuts Turntable: important features and price
The PIN-PINDA-turning table is made by hand in Europe and has a precision CNC marked chassis and the characteristic aluminum-tone of Pro-Qope. It is in advance with an Ortofon at 10-cartridge.
The Peanuts Turntable is a release of a limited edition and although it is based on the T1 BT, there are a few changes-that acrylic record plate, for example, but there is also a newly designed subplatter for the belt system. That is mounted in an ultra-hubble 0.001 mm main bearing with a hardened steel ash and brass bus. The glass dish that is under the face of Charlie Brown is a heavy, zero resonance design.
The turntable will be launched this week in High End Munich and will be available in June at Pro project and authorized retailers. The official price is £ 579 / € 599 (around $ 763 / AU $ 1,190)
