I caught my fiance in bed with my sister, but I exposed them in the best way
A WOMAN revealed why her relationship ended shortly after she introduced her fiancé to her family.
She told how she caught her husband-to-be sneaking around with her sister.
In a Reddit afterthe unnamed woman explained the situation and first provided some background information on her relationship.
The 30-year-old said she had gotten engaged to a man she had been in a relationship with for three years.
Despite their long relationship, the poster had not introduced her partner to her family until after their engagement.
She remembered how everything had been going well until she made the introduction.
“It was heavenly bliss until I introduced him to my family,” the Redditor wrote.
She shared how things went seemingly smoothly at first, explaining that “everyone welcomed him and seemed genuinely happy for us.”
Before they parted ways, the woman’s brother suggested that all the siblings and their partners take a trip to their family’s cabin to bond.
“The trip went well, so I let my guard down and decided to enjoy being with my siblings in the mountains,” she said.
“However, the day before the trip was over, everything changed.”
The woman explained that her sister had numerous arguments with her husband during the escape and he eventually “stormed out.”
Her sister remained in the cabin as she cried about the tension in her marriage.
“I don’t deal well with other people’s emotions, so I suggested a walk to clear everyone’s heads,” the poster said.
“My fiancée suggested that we siblings go so my sister could speak freely if she needed to.”
The Reddit user’s partner claimed he would hang around and catch up on work emails.
However, the woman’s sister decided to return home “early on the walk.”
Four warning signs that your partner is cheating
Private investigator Aaron Bond from BondRees revealed four warning signs that your partner may be cheating.
They start taking their phones everywhere
In close relationships, it is normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones. If their phone habits change, they may be hiding something.
Aaron says, “If your partner starts changing his password, taking his phone everywhere, even around the house, or if he gets defensive when you ask to use his phone, this could be a sign that he’s not being faithful. “
“You should also look at how they put their phone down when not in use. If they look at the phone with the screen facing down, they may be hiding something.”
They start telling you less about their day
If partners cheat, they may avoid you. This could be because they feel guilty or because it is easier for them to lie to you.
“If you feel like your partner suddenly starts avoiding you and stops wanting to do things with you or stops talking about their day, this is another warning sign.”
“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be difficult, remembering all your lies is impossible, and it’s an easy way to get caught,” says Aaron.
Their libido changes
Your partner’s libido can change for a variety of reasons, so it may not be a sure sign of cheating, but Aaron says it can be a warning sign.
Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but occasionally they may also have more sex at home. This is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating. You may also find that your partner will introduce new things into your sex life that were not there before.”
They become negative towards you
Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and for them it will feel good. This can cause tension and anxiety within themselves, which they will have to justify.
“To release the tension they feel inside, they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and out of nowhere become critical of you. Maybe you didn’t walk the dog that day, do the dishes, or do a book read. Book to your children before bed. A small problem like this can now feel like a big problem and if you experience this, your partner may be cheating,” Aaron warns.
“I offered to walk her back, but she said she wanted to clear her head,” she recalls.
The other siblings continued with the walk while their sister supposedly went home.
“After the hike, my brother and his wife wanted to explore the area, but I just wanted to shower, so I went back to the cabin,” the woman said.
She noticed her sister’s car was still parked outside the cabin, but didn’t think much of it.
However, when she entered the hut, she made a surprising discovery.
“I heard soft moans coming from upstairs and then a familiar growl,” the woman said.
“I went upstairs but saw my fiancé and my sister together in the worst way.”
The woman described how walking in on the couple having sex caused something inside her to break.
“I took a picture of what I saw, quietly packed up my things and left my ring on the counter,” she said.
“I left, sent the photo to the family group chat and turned off my phone.”
When she turned her phone back around the next day, she had 47 missed calls from her family and more than 75 text messages from her fiancé.
She added that her brother-in-law also received the text when he returned to the cabin and was “not so nice” to her fiancé.
Although the woman said she initially felt justified in her actions, she said she regretted that “innocent family members” were involved [who] didn’t deserve to be dragged into that.”
The poster made it clear that her engagement was over, saying that she removed herself from her family group chat and has refused to talk to anyone since the incident.
Reddit users shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments section.
“The trash took itself out. Don’t feel bad about the group text. I think it’s brilliant,” one reader wrote.
“Personally, I think you were right to send it. No words, just evidence,” said another commenter.
“Don’t judge yourself for sending the photo to the family, your sister and ex got what they deserved,” a third person said.
