I control my body odor without deodorant – your armpits will smell like roses
A CREATIVE woman shared how she controls her body odor without using deodorant, partly thanks to a budget buy.
She combined the skin care trick with a homemade spray that gives your armpits a floral scent.
Reddit user AerynSunnInDelight revealed how she combated her body odor in a after.
She especially wanted people to know that ‘deodorants are not perfumes’.
“They are there to combat the odor that is created by the bacteria released when you sweat,” she explains.
She added that body odor is completely normal, but “the goal is to get it to zero.”
She said your diet and water intake also affect how you smell.
There are several ways to always have a fresh scent without it costing you a lot of money.

Her biggest secret to success is the Gentleman Jon Alum Block, which costs $8.99 on Amazon.
She talked about the specific regimen she follows and the homemade mixture she uses to always smell good.

First she said to spray your armpit with a mixture of rose water with real pulp-free lemon and lime juice and tea tree essential oil.
Then rub the alum stone over your armpits until the water mixture stops dripping.
“It will take some time to get used to the transition because your skin will shed residue from the product you were using before,” she explains.
This will only take “a few days”.
“After that I didn’t have any scent at all, not even a light lemon/rose scent,” she said.
She also recommended vegan deodorants such as Allafia, Dr Bronner’s and Oxpecker (Protect & Care) as “solid” choices.
The Reddit user admitted that they are “a little more expensive, but last much longer due to the quality and concentration of the products.”
Other Redditors had words of praise for the alum block.
One of them called it a “great deodorant” and gave it five stars.
“I initially bought this block to shave, but later discovered it can also be used as a deodorant. It works great for that,” they said.
“It provides 24 hours of odorless underarms with a single application and without all the artificial ingredients found in popular deodorant brands. Highly recommended.”
Another uses it as a natural deodorant and says it “works even better than traditional antiperspirants.”
“I spray my armpits with rose water and wipe the block a few times. The box is very handy. This product lasts a very long time. You can’t go wrong with it,” they said.
