I couldn’t figure out why my thongs were so loose, so I set up a camera at home
A WOMAN says she was left ‘heartbroken’ and ‘shattered’ after discovering the shocking reason her underwear became so loose.
It all started “a few months ago” when she started realizing that her thongs and panties were “getting looser and looser.”
“I thought it was because I had kept them for too long and maybe it was time to buy new ones,” she added in the post on Reddit.
Then she came home another evening to find her “dresses rearranged in the closet.”
“The contents of my underwear drawer were also tampered with,” she added.
When it happened again, she asked her husband if he had gone through her things, which he denied and “suggested I was overworked.”
“The funny thing is, I actually believed him,” she sighed.
When it happened again a month later, her “slippers were at the bottom of the wardrobe”.
“It was like someone threw them there in a hurry to avoid being caught,” she continued.
“My first thought was that some pervert had gotten into our house and was trying to steal my underwear or worse.”
When she asked her husband if he could work from home in the living room, or asked if he could put up security cameras, he refused, saying it was “all my fault.”
“He said I was overworked to the point of exhaustion and advised me to take a few days off and visit my family,” she wrote.
However, when she put on one of her thongs the next day, it was “super loose”, and she had “no doubt” at the time that “someone was stretching them”.
Even though she was sure her husband would “gaslight” her if she asked, she decided to take it upon herself to find out what was going on.
She then got a “motion-activated spy camera” and placed it at eye level in the wardrobe, covered it with a few dresses and went to work.
Although there were a few quiet days initially, one day the camera activated and she was able to see “what was going on”.
She then saw one of her husband’s colleagues, whom she referred to as Kayleigh in the post, in her bedroom.
“She walked into the bedroom completely naked, rummaged through my drawer, took out a few pieces and tried them all on before choosing one and leaving the bedroom,” she wrote.
Four warning signs that your partner is cheating
Private investigator Aaron Bond from BondRees revealed four warning signs that your partner may be cheating.
They start taking their phones everywhere
In close relationships, it is normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones. If their phone habits change, they may be hiding something.
Aaron says, “If your partner starts changing his password, taking his phone everywhere, even around the house, or if he gets defensive when you ask to use his phone, this could be a sign that he’s not being faithful. “
“You should also look at how they put their phone down when it’s not in use. If they look at the phone with the screen facing down, they may be hiding something.”
They start telling you less about their day
If partners cheat, they may start avoiding you. This could be because they feel guilty or because it is easier for them to lie to you.
“If you feel like your partner suddenly starts avoiding you and stops wanting to do things with you or stops talking about their day, this is another warning sign.”
“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be difficult, remembering all your lies is impossible, and it’s an easy way to get caught,” says Aaron.
Their libido changes
Your partner’s libido can change for a variety of reasons, so it may not be a sure sign of cheating, but Aaron says it can be a warning sign.
Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but occasionally they may also have more sex at home. This is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating. You may also find that your partner will introduce new things into your sex life that were not there before.”
They become negative towards you
Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and for them it will feel good. This can cause tension and anxiety within themselves that they will have to justify.
“To release the tension they feel inside, they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and out of nowhere become critical of you. Maybe you didn’t walk the dog that day, do the dishes, or do a book read. Book to your children before bed. A small problem like this can now feel like a big problem and if you experience this, your partner may be cheating,” Aaron warns.
“I couldn’t believe what I just saw!”
When she confronted her husband with the images, he began “stuttering and mumbling and eventually admitted he was having an affair.”
“He said she did things I didn’t agree with,” she said, before revealing he also claimed Kayleigh’s husband knew about the affair and was okay with it because he allowed her to sleep with who she wants.
After a huge argument, she told her husband she wanted “a divorce, followed by a divorce.”
“He then went crazy, shouted at the top of his lungs and started throwing things around,” she wrote.
“He even threw his phone at me, but it missed me by inches.
“I screamed and ran to our bedroom and locked the door.”
When he was gone, she called her mother and had her run to hers and they packed up and left.
“I am heartbroken, shattered and scared,” she concluded.
“What ruined the day. Whatever has ruined life.
“I can’t believe I gave this cheat the best years of my life.”
