After a pretty busy summer schedule, the long weekend will be a pretty relaxing one for me.
I’m going to my book club on Sunday, so I want to wear something easy and casual.
And what’s easier and more relaxing than a T-shirt and denim shorts?
I love this slogan t-shirt from Next, with its bright colours that really pop.
These denim shorts from Mango are not as short as hot pants and are comfortable.
I complete my look with sunglasses and my trusty Uniqlo bag – which can hold a lot (including a book), is machine washable And under £15.
Perfect!

I am on a mission to find something I can wear to an end of summer wedding on this day off. It has to be practical but also fit well so I can quickly meet up with friends for a sunset cocktail in the evening.
It’s still warm outside, so I’m wearing this dress from Zara that I can put on right away.
I love the colour and the bubble skirt gives it a more designer feel. Plus the fabric feels light and airy, perfect for running around and standing in a busy bar with a cocktail in hand.
I’m popping this cardigan in my bag to wear in the evening and wearing matching sunglasses that go well with this gorgeous bag from Mango and the cardigan from M&S.
These red faux suede ballerinas complete the look, adding a pop of colour and practicality for shopping and walking home.

This weekend I’m going to a festival themed BBQ and when there’s a theme you can bet I’m going to go all out.
Last week I went to my local River Island store and saw this gorgeous co-ord set and couldn’t pass it up!
Okay, it’s pricey, but it’s a timeless, co-ord set that’s perfect for all kinds of summer events, year after year.
You can wear this jacket on holiday, during a night out, at a festival or even combine it with your autumn/winter wardrobe.
I can hardly believe this is from the high street and the cost per time I wear it is absolutely justified (or so I tell myself!).
I paired it with a simple white cardigan, these Primark boots and orange aviator sunglasses.
Like I said, when it comes to themes, I don’t do things halfway!
