Reddit user Hair comet26, reported on the experience in a post on the social media platform.

She said her 30-year-old boyfriend had taken out an adult subscription without her knowledge, which was very personal.

“I unfortunately found this out when I was going through an old email account that I never saw again,” she said.

She said that about a year ago she was introduced to a friend who turned out to be a mutual friend.

The friend said that they started going out together more and more often, and that she often took her boyfriend with her.

WHAT WENT WRONG?

She soon found out that her boyfriend had been viewing her friend’s NSFW content under an alias.

“I feel sick to my stomach thinking that I took someone I considered my loyal boyfriend to my girlfriend’s house to hang out, when in reality he saw her naked body, without my knowledge,” she said.

“To make matters worse, my boyfriend sometimes gave him more attention than me.”

She said she felt completely crushed by the situation, but that her friend was not fully aware of this.

“I hung out with her tonight,” the Redditor wrote in the comments.

“I didn’t talk about anything and just hung out without him.

“I don’t plan on dropping her, I don’t think she was aware of that.

“I’m probably confusing her friendliness with flirting, because she’s clearly more attracted to women.”

CAUGHT IN THE ACT

The Redditor said she confronted her boyfriend about the now-deleted adult account, but to no avail.

“[My boyfriend] “He just denies it happened and refuses to tell me,” she said.

“He just wants me to forget about it and thinks it’s because I’m insecure.

I was in a relationship with 10-10 men who everyone loved – then I decided to google him

“I know what I saw and it drives me crazy. Just because her account is deleted doesn’t mean it never happened.

“I just don’t understand why he can’t tell me when I ask calmly. I feel so confused.”

Other Redditors joined the discussion and gave their opinions on the situation.

“If you wait for him to admit his mistakes, you’ll be waiting forever no matter how you approach it. Good luck,” one person wrote.

“He’s not worth getting confused about or wasting brain power on. If I were you, I’d dump him without explanation,” added another.

“This is called gaslighting and it is a form of psychological abuse. I feel bad that this is happening. You deserve better,” said a third.
