I found out my tattoo artist boyfriend was cheating after he got me inked
A WOMAN revealed how her boyfriend’s infidelity got worse.
She explained that the tattoo artist she was dating used his other wife as inspiration for her ink.
In her viral videoTikTok user Jasmine (@jazzklassy) detailed the situation for her followers.
She explained that she had dated an “emo tattooed artist” and decided to get “all tattooed” because she was “sad too.”
Jasmine asked her friend to write Lilith from the Bible on her forearm.
The TikToker pointed out that since no one knows what the Biblical figure looks like, they had to take some liberties with the design.
She told her boyfriend to “freestyle” a woman’s face and explained that she trusted him.
When he was done, Jasmine was delighted with the end result of a seemingly fictional woman.
However, months later the tattoo artist broke up with her the day before her sister’s funeral.
To make matters worse, he revealed that he had cheated on her during their relationship.
According to Jasmine, the other woman was actually her boyfriend’s previous girlfriend.
“I’m being me, crazy, I’m going to investigate, I’m finding her TikTok [and] I see exactly what she looks like and it’s the exact same face on my arm,” she revealed.
She assumed people would think she was crazy if she made that comparison.
However, when she showed her friends and family a side-by-side image of the woman and her tattoo, they all agreed.
While Jasmine showed her audience the tattoo, she declined to show an image of the woman to protect her privacy.
She explained that she was exploring the legal options she might have in the situation.
“I didn’t know this was the face of his ex, the girl he cheated on me with. If I had known that, obviously I would never have gotten the design,” she said.
Do’s and don’ts for tattoos
1. Think, think and think again
Tattoos done on a whim are much more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you’ve thought about for a long time. Think about why you want what you have chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, buy it.
2. Age restrictions apply
To get tattooed in Britain you must be 18 years old.
3. Don’t negotiate the price
When you go to a tattoo parlor, the price is the price. You pay for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they think those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry
Eat before your tattoo session and make sure you are hydrated. You are about to be subjected to a period of continued physical discomfort. If you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or dehydrated, things won’t go as smoothly as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before getting a tattoo
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, do not get a tattoo. In fact, if your tattoo artist has anything on him, he will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of intoxicants. I would also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleeding worse.
TikTok users shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments section.
“No, that’s a different kind of evil to do to someone. I’m so sorry,” one viewer wrote.
“Get a quote on how much the removal will cost and take him to small claims court. If you can, get him to admit it in writing,” another follower advised.
“That’s so sick of him, I’m sorry you had to go through that,” a third person commented.
“I’m so sorry!! Get it touched up and get other things done to it, to change the way it looks!! It’s possible!” another commenter suggested.
