Reddit user Kop0Moogle shared the makeup tip in a post.

She said that she had been suffering from her problem skin for a long time.

“I never really feel beautiful and I have difficult skin to work with,” she said.

“Rolling acne scars, PIH redness, scars from a dog bite when I was younger, large pores, bumpy skin, and I haven’t even mentioned a weird undertone (very light with a neutral/olive tint).”

After decades of trying different things, her favorite makeup combination gave her a newfound confidence.

“That being said, after over 20 years of experimenting and making cocktails, I have found the best foundation combination for me,” she said.

She said she mixes Purito’s $12 Cica BB Clearing Cream and Nars’ Light Reflecting Foundation in a 1:1 ratio.

“It’s glowing without emphasizing my texture [and] “It’s hydrating enough that I don’t get flaky skin,” she said.

“After applying it with a beauty blender, I admire how my skin looks.

“That, plus good skin care with [salicylic acid] or AHA, has made a huge difference in how I feel.”

My Dollar General foundation is $5 but looks ‘super high end’ – it’s been my favorite for years, I would pay 4x as much for it

Make-up fans are raving about the value for money and the composition of the Purito BB cream.

One fan said it’s a “hooray for yellowish, pale and oily skin.”

“I have extra oily skin, with light yellow to olive undertones. #13 Neutral Ivory is a great color that suits me, despite the name,” she said.

“It’s light enough not to give my face an orange tint, and I don’t see any traces of pink or peachy undertones.

“I would never guess what my color is from the name. It’s not gray at all. It doesn’t leave any demarcation lines, so I don’t even have to blend it on my even paler neck.”

She added that a little bit makes a big difference.

“I only use a pea-sized amount all over my face and it makes my skin look so good. It covers what it needs to cover, but my skin is still visible,” she said.

“[It] sits well on the skin, looks natural or even healthy and does not stick to dry spots if there are any.”

Moreover, she was shocked by the longevity of the BB cream.

“[It] “It doesn’t look cakey on me. It doesn’t melt off my super oily face even when I wear it all day in the summer heat,” she said.

“At the end of the day it doesn’t look its best because my oils show through, but it’s still presentable without any side effects. Great price and perfect color match.”
