A WOMAN has revealed how she gave her boring staircase the ultimate transformation without spending a fortune.

Penny posted a photo on social media of the before, during and after photos of her stair renovation, which left many amazed.

She said, ‘I just did this to my stairs, ripped out the carpet and underlayment, hundreds nailsstaples and glue blobs.

“Then I sanded the stairs, banister and railing, filled the holes, primed and then painted.”

Penny claimed that she lightly sanded the stairs first, then varnished them, sanded them again, and then varnished them again.

She continued, “I just have to repaint the wall.”

The clever mom then added a breathtaking stick-and-peel scene, proudly showing off the end result: a stunning black staircase with a breathtaking waterfall.

Penny was delighted with her DIY transformation, concluding: “It took me eight days of my holiday, I have sore hands, knees and back, but I did it.”
