I get paid for living in a caravan and I get my electricity, water and WiFi for free
A WOMAN has revealed she lives in a caravan and gets paid for it.
Katie, originally from the UK and known online as ‘The Caravan Mum’, confessed that not only does she get her pitch for free, she also gets her electricity, water and WiFi for free.
The mum, who lives in West Wales and previously revealed she hates the school holidays at a caravan park, opened up about her lifestyle on social media, leaving many open-mouthed.
She said online: “If you want to be able to live on a field for free and generate income at the same time, you don’t have to run a business, you don’t have to have a remote job, you can be a Campsite Manager.
“Basically, this is the person who is the security, who is the cleaner, who is the manager, you do a whole range of things.
“You live on site and you do all the things a site owner would do, but you get paid for it.

‘And you get your pitch for free, you get your electricity for free, you get your water for free.
“You generally get WiFi for free, depending on whether it is actually on the campsite or not, so that means a lot of bills and you also get an income for that.”
Katie explained that despite this, the income is “not very good” and is generally minimum wage.
But either way, Katie raved about the lifestyle and shared that while the money isn’t great, it’s worth it for everything you get.
Not only this, but she also raved about the ‘transferable skills’ that come with the job.
Katie explained that campground manager jobs are generally given to retirees or semi-retirees.
She also said that many of these jobs are also available to couples.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @the caravan familyhas clearly left many with their mouths open, as people flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on the unique track.

Meanwhile, many were keen to learn more about the job, with one user asking: “If you do these jobs, can you live full-time?”
