After Nikki rolls out of bed in the pitch dark, she immediately gets dressed and starts doing housework.

She said she always leaves the dishes from the night before unwashed before going to bed because she prefers to do them in the morning.

After Nikki cleans the entire house, which takes her until 4:30 in the morning, she gets ready for her first workout.

She said, “Tuesday is what I call a double cardio day, so I’ll go for a walk or a run and then I’ll go swimming.

“My goal is 10,000 steps and then swim for 45 minutes,” she said.

After her intense training routine, Nikki relaxes in the spa and walks back home around 6:40am.

When she gets home at 7:30 am, she cooks breakfast for herself and her partner.

She added that she is weighing everything carefully, as her husband is trying to gain weight.

“His portion is about 1,000 calories, and mine is about 360 calories, with 40 grams of protein,” she said.

After Nikki eats her breakfast and says a short prayer, she washes up and gets ready for work.

To ensure she gets enough sleep, Nikki explains that she goes to bed around 7pm or 8pm.

She explained that she has always been an early bird, but in 2017, when she was training for her first marathon, she got up at 3 a.m.

Nikki’s (@nikkifarah) video likely left many people with their mouths open, as it has been viewed over 8.8 million times on the video platform.

The best sleep routine and environment

Thomas Høegh Reisenhus, TEMPUR® sleep expert and sleep consultant, reveals the key components of a good bedtime routine and environment…

Good sleep hygiene is a surefire way to sleep better.

Create a sleep routine that works for you and stick to it.

This helps your body create a consistent, natural sleep-wake cycle, which can do wonders for the overall quality of your sleep.

Therefore, try to avoid catching up on sleep by sleeping in.

Instead of sleeping in, you can spend your morning reading a book in bed or drinking a cup of coffee in the kitchen.

Make sure your bedroom, bedding and nightwear are also fit for purpose.

The ideal sleeping environment is dark, quiet and cool – like a cave.

If you find that unwanted light sources are keeping you awake, consider investing in a sleep mask or blackout curtains.

Adding soft furnishings can be a great way to reduce noise, as the surfaces have an absorbent quality. If this doesn’t work, you can also put on a soothing soundtrack to block out the sound.

In terms of temperature, try to keep your bedroom at 18°C. You can further reduce the risk of waking up from overheating by ensuring that all your bedding and nightwear is made from natural, breathable materials such as cotton and linen.

Keep in mind that everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for you!

Knowing how much sleep you need, how to overcome common issues, and practicing good sleep hygiene can all help you get a good night’s sleep. However, if you experience persistent sleep problems or fatigue, don’t hesitate to consult a doctor or healthcare provider for support.

YouTube users rushed to the comments of the video to express their amazement at Nikki’s intense morning routine.

Someone said, “I went back to bed exhausted just looking at you.”

Another said, “I would literally rather do anything than get up at 4am.

“That’s madness, that’s in the middle of the night.”

A third person said, “This discipline is another level.”

A fourth added: “Your morning is my whole week.”
